An essay about the everyday lives of gay men living in the city, exploring encounters, the distances between people, and moments of being carried away by emotion, with a touch of fiction woven throughout.
Perhaps everyone has experiences they don’t usually share with others, or periods in their lives when they let themselves go a little.
As an extension of my illustrated diary practice, I wanted to capture these fragments of my own life through words and drawings, looking back at them from a slight distance with curiosity.
This book is written entirely in Japanese.
